Why We Exist

We built this practice around a single belief: that patients with complex neurological conditions deserve access to the same level of specialized, coordinated care available at major academic medical centers — close to home, in an environment that respects their time and dignity.

For too long, patients in Montgomery County with chronic headaches, memory concerns, neuropathic pain, or complex neurological symptoms were forced to travel to distant academic centers or navigate a fragmented system of disconnected providers. We saw the gap and set out to close it.

The Gap We Fill

The Neurology, Headache & Pain Institute was founded to bring subspecialty neurological care to the local community. By organizing our practice into dedicated departments — The Headache Institute, The Memory Center, Neurology World, The Pain Institute, The Infusion Center, and our Physical Therapy program — we ensure that every patient receives the focused, expert-level attention their condition demands.

That belief demanded real infrastructure, not just a name on the door: in-office EEG and EMG, cognitive testing, an infusion center capable of delivering the newest FDA-approved Alzheimer’s therapies, a fluoroscopic procedure suite, and the authorization and coordination staff that make advanced treatment actually happen. The kind of capability usually found inside hospital systems — built into a community practice.
